Thiruvananthapuram: The body of a doctor was found dead in his home in Kollam district of Kerala. A six-year-old girl died at a doctor’s hospital a few days ago. The police are also investigating whether the girl’s death was related to her.
Dr. Anoop Krishna (32) is a deceased doctor. Dr. Krishna is running Anoop Ortho Care Hospital in Kadappakada in the district. A week ago, a six-year-old girl died while undergoing treatment at a doctor’s hospital. But the parents had filed a complaint against the hospital alleging that our daughter had died from anesthesia.
“We have filed a case against the hospital as abnormal death. The victim died while undergoing treatment at the hospital. But we are not sure if these two events are related. The doctor committed suicide. But the exact cause of his death is still unknown. He wrote on the wall as an excuse, ”the police officer said.
Relatives had alleged that our baby had died of anesthesia. Adhya Lakshmi was admitted to the hospital last week for surgery. But the girl died of a heart attack during the surgery. Hospital officials said. The girl’s post-mortem report has not yet arrived. More details will be revealed soon after the post-mortem. We are not sure whether the doctor was depressed after the incident. The body was found at his home, police said.
Dr. Anoop Krishna’s Ortho Care Hospital is known for knee surgery. It provides treatment for bone diseases. The hospital has a specialty unit for the treatment of children’s bone diseases. Dr. Anoop had done a Master of Science (MS) in Krishna Ortho. Anoop is reported to specialize in orthopedics.
Currently, the police have registered a case and are investigating all aspects. Police suspect that Dr. Anoop may have committed suicide after the girl’s death.
