WTC Final: Michael Vaughan sprinkles salt on the wounds of Indian cricket fans

The thirty-six personality between former England captain Michael Vaughan and Indian cricket fans has been around for some time. Even before the final match of the ICC World Test Championship, Vaughan had hoped to win the New Zealand title, which Indian cricket fans had scolded him for. Vaughan wrote on Twitter, ‘In a few hours, thousands of Indian cricket fans will have to apologize to me. I’m icted that New Zealand wins the World Test Championship final. New Zealand won the title by beating India by eight wickets. Team India could only score 170 in the second innings. New Zealand then set a target of 139 runs for the loss of two wickets.

Kane Williamson scored 52 not out and Ross Taylor scored 47. New Zealand lost two wickets for 44 runs. Williamson and Taylor together led the team to this historic victory.
