Arrest is the last conviction for Bale who has been absconding for 21 years

Hubli: Hubli Shah police have arrested a thief who had been bail in a theft case and had escaped for 21 years.

Shidlingappappa Chandramappa alias Bagale, a resident of Chikeri Flat Sunkarabatti in Amaragola, has been arrested. He was arrested in Radhakrishnanagar, Hubli, on bail in connection with the theft of a Mahesh Taylor shop. But later he changed his name and disappeared from the police. Shah police have succeeded in locating the accused.

SB Kattimani has succeeded in arresting the accused who had retreated to court after bail in the theft case. Shidlingappa, who is fully informed about him, has been found through his finger print.

Police Inspector MS Patil of Hubli Shahara Police Station, led by MSI Patil PSI BN Sathan, ASI RB Chapparani and Staff SB Kattimani and KH Ragani have been arrested. Police Commissioner R. Dileep has announced the reward of appreciation for the police investigation.
