Babri Masjid demolition case protests

MangaloreMangalore city police have arrested several leaders of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) in protest against the CBI special court verdict that acquitted the accused of Babri Masjid demolition.

SDPI State Secretary Ashraf Machar, Mangalore City Corporator Muneeb Bengre and many other district leaders have been detained after the CBI court issued a verdict today.

Leaders of the SDPI condemned the acquittal of all 32 accused in the Babri mosque vandalism, including senior BJP leaders LK Advani, Murali Manohar Joshi and Uma Bharti. He also shouted slogans against the court’s decision.
