An important meeting of the Parliamentary Party under the chairmanship of LJP President Chirag Paswan has started in the midst of the ongoing controversy over the Bihar Assembly elections. In this meeting, LJP will put its stamp on the possibility of accepting the seat offered in the NDA or staying out of the alliance. However, the party had already authorized Chairman Chirag Paswan to take any decision. On the other hand, NDA’s partner BJP and JDU can announce seat sharing at any time today.

Let us tell you that earlier the meeting of the LJP parliamentary party was to be held on Saturday but due to deteriorating health of the founder of the party, Ram Vilas Paswan, this meeting was postponed.
BJP’s plan B ready on exit from NDA alliance
The BJP and JDU, two key partners of the NDA over the Bihar assembly elections, have almost resolved the issues related to seat-sharing. According to reliable sources from both parties, all the controversial seats were discussed during the meeting and a amicable solution has been worked out.
However, there remains doubt over Lok Janshakti Party’s (LJP) presence as a third partner in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The LJP has hinted to contest 143 seats. A senior BJP official said that if the LJP decides to pull out of the alliance, the party is ready with Plan B and can play a role in Mukesh Saini’s VIP party. Saini had a walkout from the Grand Alliance on Saturday in a dramatic development. The LJP is threatening that if its demand for 42 seats is not met, it will break away from the NDA and contest against JDU. LJP is targeting Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for alleged failures of the government on the employment front and on the overall development of the state.
