Deoria: Supporters march in support of farmers, regime is stopped, 50 people arrested

In support of farmers, the administration did not allow SPOs to hold a tractor rally in Tehsils. In the meantime, 50 workers were arrested and placed in Kotwali in Rudrapur. The spouses raised fierce slogans against the government and the administration.

The SP had announced a tractor rally in all the tahsils. Under this, Sapai prepared the rally on Monday. In the morning, the SP district president and other workers were going to take a tractor rally from their residence in Saket Nagar. Long conversations allowed him to get off the tractor. The SP district president pulled out of the tractor but stopped him at the district hospital. After that, Sapai reached the party office on foot. Meanwhile, in Rudrapur, led by Pradeep Yadav, the tractor rally was taken out of the Semrauna ers. The SDM, which has a heavy police force, stopped him in Adarsh’s compound. Sapai was adamant about taking the rally. Its police have arrested 50 people, including Pradeep Yadav and Ram Kewal Yadav.

The police forced everyone to sit at the police station. In Rudrapur itself, the party’s national general secretary Ramashankar Vidyarthi, former legislator Anugraha Narayan Singh alias Khokha Singh, Abhishek Yadav, all rallied together with the tractor at the Sapai Satashi Inter-College, but the administration was stalled. After lengthy negotiations, the administration allowed the rally in some ways. After the aftermath, SP activists ended the rally by holding rallies along those lines.

Meanwhile, the SP workers coming from Gauribazar to the district center were stopped at a pre-cessation. Other leaders, including the district president, reached out. After the negotiations somehow the overbridge was allowed to come. In Bhatparani, Ratsia Mor MLA Dr Ashutosh Upadhyaya flagged off the rally. The assembly, led by Speaker Ashok Yadav, reached Tehsil with more than 5 dozen tractors. The police force stopped there. Supporters then ended the program by raising slogans in support of the farmer movement. Biku activists, rally, CPI and Congress activists who were holding a rally at Bangra Bazar in Sonughat were blocked by the police.
