ESI hospital to be opened in Amroha, UP in the name of Chetan Chauhan

State Employees Insurance Corporation will soon open state-of-the-art hospitals in Amroha and Bareilly. In which Amroha’s hospital will be named after former cricketer Chetan Chauhan. This information was given by Union Minister of State for Labor and Employment (Independent Charge) Santosh Gangwar on Monday.

Santosh Gangwar said that ESI’s state-of-the-art hospital is to be opened in the ITR factory complex which has been closed for almost 15 years in Bareilly. A budget of Rs 63 crore has been released for purchasing land in the ministry, while the process of opening a 30-bed hospital in Amroha has started. He told that the proposed ESI hospital in Amroha will open in the name of former Uttar Pradesh minister and cricketer Chetan Chauhan.

Santosh Gangwar said that about two lakh workers and ESI members working in Bareilly and Moradabad divisions will get the benefit of medical facilities. Apart from this, common people will also be able to take advantage of the facilities available in these hospitals on minimum payment.
