Important news for PNB Bank customers, checkbook rules will change from April 1

PNB Bank has released important information to its account holders on its official Twitter account. PNB Bank has issued instructions to change the old IFSC code and the MIRC code (MICR) by March 31.

PSU Bank has appealed to all bank account holders to replace the old IFSC code and MICR code. Otherwise, account holders with the old code will not be able to transact money by March 31, 2021. The government has merged Oriental Bank of Commerce and United Bank of India with Punjab National Bank, then PNB is asking customers of both banks to get a new checkbook, new IFSC and MICR code.
