JEE Advanced Result 2020: JEE Advanced 25th rank holder Aditya selected Gwalior instead of quota for coaching

Aditya Jain, son of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, chose his home town of Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh for studies. Most IIT students prefer to go to Kota, Rajasthan for coaching. But Aditya worked very hard and JEE Advanced has secured 24th rank. Aditya is the topper in the mail candidates from Kanpur zone, while the topper among women is Shreya Moghe, who also hails from Madhya Pradesh. Jain’s father Sudhir Jain runs a small battery repairing shop in Jhansi and mother Ragini Jain is a school teacher.

Aditya shifted to Gwalior two years ago to prepare for IIT JEE. Aditya says his father always wanted to see him in the engineer. He told me that I was good at studies, so he wanted to shift me from Delhi to Kota, but I chose a coaching institute in Gwalior. I am happy that my decision to shift to Gwalior came out right.

Aditya says that when I came to Delhi, the teachers told me about some examinations like Olympiad. My teachers helped me a lot in my studies and Olympiad in Physics and Chemistry. I reached the second stage in both competitions. Although my dream was always to pass the IIT JEE exam. I used to study for 6-7 hours every day. I always used to ask questions to my teachers.

Let us tell you that 1.5 lakh students participated in Joint Attention Exam-Advanced (JEE-Adv). After the results were released, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank tweeted and congratulated all the students. He has also said that there are many opportunities for students who have not scored well, students should remember that any examination can define them. IITs will release the cut off after the JEE Advanced result 2020 results are released. After this, students will be able to apply for JoSAA counseling from today.

Amid waiting for the JEE Advanced Exam 2020 results, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced some changes in the admission process for this year. According to the statement released on the official website of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority, this year there will be only six rounds of seat allotment while seven rounds of seat allotment have been taking place for the last three years. This is being done to finish the admission process before the Diwali holidays. Let us tell you that last year, where candidates had to report themselves to confirm their seat, this year the whole process will be done online.
