The electric version of the Kia Soul was unveiled at the last Auto Expo, and since then the car has been in the market for debate. Currently, the company sells three models in the Indian market, including Sonnet, Celto’s and Carnival. However, the company has not made any official announcement about the launch of the car. However, the company said in a statement that the model will be introduced in the new segment before 2022.

The car is powered by a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated and 1.6-liter turbo petrol engine. In its electric version, the company used a 64 kWh capacity battery pack, with its electric motor producing 198bhp and 394Nm of torque.
The company claims that its electric version delivers a range of up to 450 km on a single charge, and the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 7.6 seconds. Its top speed is 170 kilometers per hour. The battery life of this car takes about 9.5 hours to become fully charged. The car comes with four different driving modes, including Eco, Eco Plus, Comfort and Sport.
