Mangalore: The CCB investigation revealed that the narrator of the CCB inquiry into the Drugs Network case, actress Anushree, has called on many political leaders to protect them.
The evidence of Anushree’s telephone calls is astonishing to the troubled CCB. Anushree, who is using 6SIM, has phoned four influential people on CCB notice. He also called on the former chief minister, the son of a former chief minister and an influential politician on the coast. Three phone calls to the leaders of the three parties have been made available to the police when verifying the telephone call.
It is learned that there was a handiwork of a local legislator behind the sudden transfer of Inspector, who had interrogated Anushree. It is said that lawmakers have pressed for the release of Dancer Kishore Shetty, who was arrested earlier in connection with the Inspector Shivprakash Naik case.
But Shivaprakash did not bow to the MLA’s insistence. Thus Shivprakash was swiftly transferred. The public was outraged.
Now the government has blocked the transfer order of Mangalore CCB Police Inspector Shivprakash Nayak. Shivprakash Nayak will continue as CCB Inspector.
