Mere Dad Ki Dulhan 29th October 2020 Written Update: Niya comes to know about Kabir and Swara’s engagement
The serial begins with Guneet Amber asking where her earrings are. It’s morning and there’s a lot of noise in the house so Nia keeps her ears closed. Pammy asks Nia to have breakfast. After Amber finds Guneet’s earrings, Amber and Guneet come to the kitchen for breakfast. He forces Gunate to leave the office but she tells him to go by taxi. Amber asks Nia not to insist.
Guneith and Amber go to the living room, where Guneith uses her work on her own and says she has been using a taxi for the past twenty years and that nothing will change after she becomes Mr. She asks him to call the cab if he wants his husband to do something. Amber vacation.
When Guneth goes outside, she sees no cab but instead Amber unloads her motorbike with a swatch cleaning. She essays that he hasn’t called the cab. Amber tells her that he called the cab but canceled it. She asks what. Amber replies that it is not necessary to continue what she has been doing for twenty years and invites her to sit on his bike. He shines on it and on him. He asks her not to look at it like it was the same bike he had left his heart to her. Guneet agrees to go to the office with Amber on her bike because she is late.
On the other hand, as Nia confronts Rishi about liking her. Ish Shi tells Nia that she is unable to decide: Is she nerdy enough to know the answer or is she wise enough to know it but wants to hear it from him? Nia asks what they mean. Rishi replies that he likes her more than a friend. She is about to walk away but he stops her and grabs her wrist.
She knows she still feels for Kabir and she never feels like him but he tells her that he cannot change his feelings because of her. Nia asks him to drop his hand. Rishi does it and tells him that he knew she was reacting like that, so he never told her. Nia jokes that he did her a great favor and says she thought he gave her such a big chance for her creativity and ability.
Rishi says that he thought she started to understand him. He asks if she really thinks he decided to give her a million worth of company just because he likes her. He says that about Venet, he gets enough people to handle it. There is a takeover announcement tonight and if she comes in and says she will take it as she accepts the opportunity, the decision is hers. Nia huffs leaving the room.
In the meantime, Amber is taking Guneet to the office on his bike. He applies a sudden break that pushes her towards him. Then he grabs her hand and places it on his shoulder but she removes it. “Humsafar Hai Sabhi” plays. He puts it on his shoulder again.
Amber stops the bike in the cafe. Gunit calls Mr. Mehra and asks him where he is. After cutting the call, she had to inform Mehrali after she got there and she came late but now she tells Amber that he is coming. Amber says if she had agreed to the bike she would not have been late.
Amber and Guneith observe a young couple doing romance. Amber says people start from anywhere. The couple come close to kissing and Guneith and Amber are immediately embarrassed. They both put their hands on the bike. Amber slowly turns her hand towards Guneeth. She knows about that but is ashamed and moves her hand away. Ambir tries to reach her hand again. She smiles. Before touching Amber Guneet’s hand, she goes to see Mr Mehra.
Mr Mehra argues with Guneet for being late. She says she has a problem at home: she is a woman and she must handle the house as well. Mehra says women should stay home then. Amber comes in and blames Mehra and apologizes. Mehra says she will not buy any product from Guneet.
Gunith and Amber return home. Guneet refuses to take Amber to any of his meetings. When she goes in, she finds Swara there. Swara invites her and Amber to a party tomorrow. They say they can announce their engagement. Nia comes down the stairs and Gunate informs her about the party. Swara leaves.
Guneet asks what happened, noticing that Nia is sad. She was hosting parties at Kabir’s house but now he seems to be getting away. They sit together. Gunit says he now has a girlfriend, so they are getting away. She suggests Nia to continue and asks about RV as she thinks Rishi likes her. Nia denies it and adds that she’s not interested. Guneet informs her that Kabir may announce her engagement at the party. Nia is repulsed. She says she has a job. Guneet recommends not letting love go away from his life again. Nia sadly walks into a corner.
