Permission to Open School – What’s in the Center’s Guidelines?

New Delhi: Six days ago, the central government said schools could open in the country after October 15, unlocked. Now the Home Ministry has published guidelines.

Children can go to school with parental consent. Attendance is not mandatory for children. The online classes can be selected.

What’s on the roadmap?
It is mandatory to sanitize the school rooms on a regular basis. Children, teachers and staff must wear masks at all times. Teachers and children need social interaction.

A task team should be created to respond to an urgent need. Programs, sports should not be organized. Altered academic year calendar should be followed for lessons, exams, holidays. In the afternoons should be fed a nutritious diet that boosts immunity.
