Prime Minister Narendra Modi Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh spoke to LJP Chief Chirag Paswan over phone regarding Ram Vilas Paswan health issue

There has been no announcement of seat sharing between the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) constituents, ie BJP, JDU and LJP, for the Bihar Assembly Elections 2020. However, yesterday it was reported that LJP chief Chirag Paswan was almost in a mood to part ways with the NDA. Its formal announcement remains. Meanwhile, Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, including PM Modi, called Chirag today and knew the condition of his father Ram Vilas Paswan.

Ram Vilas Paswan has been in a hospital in Delhi for the past few days. He had an operation in his heart yesterday. Giving information about this, Chirag Paswan said that if needed, his operation will be done in future.

Through her official Twitter handle, Chirag Paswan said, “Papa has been undergoing treatment at the hospital for the past several days. His heart underwent a late night operation due to sudden production conditions. Probably a few weeks if needed After that another operation has to be done. Thank you all for standing with me and my family in this hour of trouble. ‘

Earlier LJP scheduled a meeting yesterday. A decision was to be taken on the offer to accept the number of seats in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) -led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, but was deferred because of Ram Vilas Paswan’s ailment.

Earlier in September, Chirag Paswan said that his visit to Bihar for a final discussion about seat sharing and other formalities before the upcoming Bihar assembly elections could be delayed, as his father is unwell. He had then met party members and supporters and urged them to be prepared for every scenario.

There is confusion in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) over seat sharing. While the BJP had earlier said that it would contest elections under the leadership of Janata Dal (United) leader and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, another NDA ally LJP is demanding a large number of seats.

Bihar has 243 assembly seats and elections will be held in three phases – 28 October, 3 November, and 7 and the votes will be counted on 10 November.
