Salman Khurshid said on Ladakh border crisis – If the government hides the truth, the countrymen will panic

Former Union Minister Salman Khurshid spoke on the economy, the Ladakh border crisis (India China Border Tension). Taking a dig at the Modi government, he said that the government does not tell anything which is not good for democracy. He said that the government does not first tell the truth about the economy, then the social system and now the security system.

Salman Khurshid’s statement came at a time when there are reports of India and Chinese soldiers coming face to face again in Ladakh. There are reports of fresh skirmishes near Pengong Lake.

On the ongoing struggle on the border with China, Salman Khurshid said that this is a matter of concern and the government should not hide things on it. He said that if the truth does not come to light then a sense of panic will arise in the country. He said that if the government does not want to tell the public, then at least tell the leaders of the opposition about the latest conditions.

Salman Khurshid also said that it has been said by the Ministry of External Affairs itself that the situation in Ladakh was not as bad as it is today. Salman said that now the opposition will put pressure on the government in Parliament and ask what is the situation on the China border. He said that if it is not told even there, then will democracy be considered as left?
