Observer senior IAS officer Ajay Kumar, who posted on the MLC election count, has died. He suddenly fell unconscious during a Friday morning walk. He was later admitted to Shubham Hospital. His condition there is serious. Doctors kept him on a ventilator. His wife IAS Nina Sharma had also reached Varanasi after receiving the information. He died at 9.30am on Saturday morning. Ajayi was the national integration secretary.
Ajay Kumar attended the counting of votes taking place at Pahadia Mandi in Varanasi, then went to the circuit house. He suddenly collapsed in the Circuit House around 7.30am on Friday morning. The security guard, in collaboration with the local administration, hastily admitted him to a private hospital. According to the doctor, he was unconscious from a heart attack.
Hearing the news of senior IAS Ajay Kumar Singh’s heart attack, Commissioner Deepak Agarwal, District Collector Kaushal Raj Sharma and SSP Amit Pathak also rushed to the hospital. The team of doctors is constantly monitoring Ajay Kumar’s health. Commissioner Deepak Agarwal said Ajay Kumar’s condition was serious and he was on a ventilator. He was scheduled to be taken to Delhi by air ambulance but was not taken due to serious condition.
His wife Nina arrived at the hospital by government helicopter
When the news reached Ajay Singh that his health was deteriorating, the Agra IAS wife Nina Sharma, who is responsible for the Observer, got out of the car but was delayed by road. He was sent to Varanasi by helicopter from Kannauj. She reached Benares at one and a half o’clock in the afternoon. Nina Sharma has been posted as an Observer in Agra.
