Maruti Suzuki’s popular hatchback car, the new generation Maruti Alto, will be launched soon. This car will be launched in the first half of 2021. The company can make many changes in the look of the new Alto. Its interior is highly premium. However, there may be no changes in the engine. Leaked images suggest that this hatchback will retain its boxy stance. The overall length and width of the car does not change, but the height can be increased slightly. In addition, the car can offer a new grille, headlamp and bumper.

There will be such features
According to the report, the company’s lightweight Heartecht platform could be used in the 2022 Maruti Alto. The same platform can also be used in Maruti Swift, Dzire and Ertiga. It can be offered with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It offers features such as a new instrument cluster, four power windows and keyless access.

Standard safety features include dual airbag, speed alert system, reverse parking sensors, ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD (electronic brake force distribution) and driver and co-driver seatbelt reminders. The same 769cc 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine can be found in the car. It produces 48bhp and 69Nm of torque. It is rumored that the car will also feature a smart hybrid technology other than the CNG kit.
