In Sweden, the rightists set fire to the Quran, inciting a riot

In Sweden, right-wing activists set the Holy Quran ablaze in the southern city of Malmö. Riot erupted after 300 people gathered in protest against the incident. Police said Saturday that the rioters opened fire on Friday and targeted the police and relief service teams in which several police officers were marginally injured. Around 15 people have been detained on charges of rioting.

Violence erupted following the incident of the burning of the Quran on Friday afternoon, according to TT news agency reports. Reports said that right-wing activists carried out the Quran burning incident and made a video of it and posted it online.
Later, three people were arrested in this case.

A spokesman for the president of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations said that the head of the organization condemned the incident of burning of the Quran by right-wing extremists and called the act completely unacceptable. Meanwhile, he appealed to the people to end the violence.
