In the next 6 months, those vehicles will be introduced to the Indian market, with their plans being made long term. These upcoming vehicles include facelifts of existing models and some new cars. These vehicles are available in vehicles such as Hatchback to Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs). So let’s learn about those models –
1) – Maruti Suzuki Celerio
Maruti Suzuki’s new hatchback car, Celerio, can be unveiled at the festival of TU. The hatchback was first launched in 2014 by the company. Now the company is preparing to release its next generation model. It has been identified during the test on several occasions. According to reports, the company is also using the HireTech platform to make this car, which is larger in size. It can be launched in the market with 1.0 liter K-series and 1.2 liter petrol engine. The new Celerio can cost around 25 to 30 thousand rupees more than the current model. Currently, this car has a starting price of Rs 4.65 lakh.
2) – Skoda Cusack
Czech Republic company Skoda is once again preparing to improve its position in the Indian market. Recently, the company took the wraps off its upcoming compact SUV Cusack. It will launch on June 28th. The SUV is built on the MQB platform and will be launched in the market with two petrol engines. In one version, a 1.0-liter petrol engine was used, producing 113bhp and 175Nm of torque. On the other hand, the second variant is powered by a 1.5-liter engine that produces 148bhp and 250Nm of torque.
3) – 2021 Force Gorkha:
Soon the new Force Gurkha will be released for sale. According to media reports, the company could make it to market by the end of September. In it, the company’s large logo is presented with circular daytime running lights and new headlamps in the middle of the single slot grill. In it, a 2.6-liter capacity diesel engine with the new BS6 standard is used. It produces 89bhp of power. The engine is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox and a four-wheel drive (4×4) system. This SUV is also special in terms of safety. The company offers safety features such as Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Dual Airbag, Parking Sensor, Speed Alert.
4) – Angie Astor:
British automaker MG Motor will launch its new model Astor in the Indian market. In fact, it is the petrol version of the current electric SUV ZS. It is the first vehicle in its segment to use the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) feature. The company uses a 1.5-liter (120bhp and 150Nm of torque) 4-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.3-liter turbo-charged petrol engine (163bhp of power and 230Nm of torque). The SUV can be launched in the market by the end of the year.
5) – 2021 Maruti Brenda:
The company was first launched in 2016 by division leader Vitara Brezza. At the Auto Expo last year, the company unveiled its new facelift. At this time its diesel variant was discontinued and it was only launched with a petrol engine. Although no information has been shared about its next-gen model, it is believed that the company may offer it with an existing engine and a new chassis frame. Moreover, it can also offer a mild hybrid system, which is why its mileage is even better.
