Hospet: The incident took place in Bellary district’s Hosapete Taluk when two youths who were dumped into a canal to fill their bottles.
Two youths who fell in the Tungabhadra RBHLC canal in Hospet have been watered. The deceased were identified as Kiran (23) and Abdullah (23) of Sandur.
According to sources, Kiran had gone down to the canal on his way back to Soodore from Hosapet and filled the bottle with water. Abdullah has also been washed away in the water.
No case has been registered in any of these police stations. A search of the corpse of the deceased was conducted.
