The number of corona patients has decreased in Uttar Pradesh for the last few days. Recovery rates have also increased rapidly. Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that 3033 cases of Kovid have been reported in the last 24 hours. One day this figure reached 2234. He said that the death rate has also decreased in UP as compared to previous days. 3662 people have recovered and gone back home. Now, after the recovery in pollution, the number of people discharged has reached three lakh 97 thousand 570. The recovery rate has also reached around 90 percent. There are still 38082 active cases in UP. Additional Chief Secretary informed that 151367 samples were examined on Monday. A total of 1,21,92,619 samples have been investigated so far.
Reduction in corona patients after 71 days
The corona figures released in UP on Monday showed a decrease after several days. After last 2 August, on Monday 12 October i.e. 71 days later, active cases were registered below 40 thousand. This information was given by Amit Mohan Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary, State Medical and Health Department, in his regular press briefing. He informed that more patients are getting discharged in the state every day than they are coming to hospitals. At the same time the mortality rate is also decreasing continuously. He said that the number of corona infections is declining but the epidemic has not ended.
