Additional Chief Secretary of Medical and Health Department Amit Mohan Prasad said on Monday that 63 more patients died during the last 24 hours in the state.

He informed that 45,024 patients are currently being treated in the state. While 3,66,321 people have been discharged, of which 4269 have been discharged in the last 24 hours. The cases under treatment in the state are also declining continuously and now the rate of recovery has increased to 87.75 percent.
Prasad said that 1,49,272 samples were tested in the state on Sunday. So far, one crore eight lakh 88 thousand 520 samples have been tested in the state.
